ADELANTE PROJECT - OMETEPE – NICARAGUA

The ADELANTE PROJECT* is MAÂT’s first official project. The goal of this project is to provide the young mothers of Ometepe with basic education, professional training as well as the reinforcement of their personal skills and financial autonomy.

In collaboration with Oxfam-Quebec and Ometepe’s network of civil organizations, ADELANTE aims to accomplish the following :

  • Permit young mothers to reach an elementary level of education
  • Improve their personal skills with the help of specific training and professional psychological support
  • Ensure that young mothers obtain professional skills
  • Support young mothers in their process of obtaining financial autonomy through the establishment of a social business

The ADELANTE PROJECT includes the setting up of a personal, social, and technical training program for young mother, along with the production of family kitchen gardens and an artisan bakery.

In order to be able to improve the prospect of the future for these adolescents and their young children, MAÂT is currently undertaking an important financial campaign.

In order for the ADELANTE PROJECT to be registered in this part of the world and be able to play an important role in the putting an end to the generational cycle of poverty that exists, your financial contribution is essential.

RAZMOKETS PROJECT | PORT-AU-PRINCE | HAITI

Financial objective : 35 000$

The RAZMOKETS PROJECT is the first project supported by MAÂT in Haiti. It consists in offering a financial and technical aid to set up and operate an educational nursery dedicated to children aged between 2 and 6 years old, in the region of Port-au-Prince. Thanks to the RAZMOKETS PROJECT, young mothers will benefit from various formations and will be privileged to work within the nursery as cooks, cleaners or teachers. Thus, the mothers will have a better chance at exercising a worthy occupation and offering their children better life prospects for the future.
